Do you charge for consultations?
No. In-home consultations are free. A designer measures every window, brings samples, and helps you land on the right choice.
Do I need to measure my windows first?
No. We do all measuring ourselves, so everything is built to your exact windows.
How long until my window treatments arrive?
Everything is built to order by Hunter Douglas to your exact measurements. Timing varies by product and fabric, and we keep you posted from order to install.
Who does the installation?
Installation is free, and it's done by our own installers, not subcontractors. They fit, level, and demonstrate every product before they leave.
Do you do motorized window coverings?
Yes. We install Hunter Douglas PowerView® motorization with schedules, voice control, and one-touch scenes, and most products can be motorized.
Can I see products before ordering?
Yes. Our Bainbridge Island showroom has every style working on the wall. Walk in Monday through Thursday, 10 to 4. In-home consultations run Monday through Friday, 9 to 5.

Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, Silverdale, Kingston, Bremerton, and Seattle, which is a ferry ride away.
What brands do you carry?
We are the island's certified Hunter Douglas Gallery dealer, which covers shades, shutters, blinds, verticals, and motorization.
Are there child-safe options?
Yes. Cordless and motorized operation removes cords entirely, and we will point you to the right option room by room.
What happens if something arrives damaged?
We handle the warranty conversation with Hunter Douglas for you and stay on it until the product is right.
How are motorized shades powered?
Three ways: a rechargeable battery wand, a standard battery wand, or hardwired into the home. We recommend the right option for each window during your consultation.
How long do motorized shade batteries last?
About a year of typical use, per Hunter Douglas, depending on shade size and how often it moves. Rechargeable wands top up in place, without taking the shade down.
Do motorized shades work with Alexa, Google, or Apple Home?
Yes. With PowerView® Automation your shades work with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit, and the PowerView® App adds schedules and scenes.
Will the signal reach across a large house?
PowerView® runs on Bluetooth Low Energy, so coverage depends on your layout and wall construction. A PowerView® Gateway extends the range, and we plan coverage room by room during the design visit.
How do I clean my window treatments?
Light dusting or a vacuum with a soft brush handles most fabrics. Avoid harsh chemicals and scrubbing, and never immerse a motorized headrail. We include care guidance for your exact fabric at installation.
